Okay I usually don't drink(average about 5-7 years between), but I was on vacation so I decided to try some off the newer things. Now I HATE beer so I stay away from it. I made a mistake of getting Angry Orchard Hard Cider... Now I like hard cider so I thought it was going to be HARD CIDER not beer with an apple after taste so after half a bottle the five remainders got passed off to my buddy. After that I was a little gun shy over the Twisted Tea Half and Half I bought too, however that actually tasted like tea/lemonade so that wasn't a total loss for me(and a boon for my buddy...)
Lesson learned I'm sticking to whiskey, rum, and moonshine. Even if I sometimes wake up to things like this

Well I made it through the surgery. I do have a stoma(pouch), however it's only for at most 3 months. The doctor believes that he got all the cancer and I won't need chemo!
I still haven't been allowed to drink yet(but an awesome nurse got me a bottle of G2=))
Then I was a dumb ass. I thought the pain pump was auto and you pressed the button when you needed more... so when I'm laying down I don't have to much pain. That's where I the stupidity kicked in. They want to get you up as soon as possible, so with no pain killer's in me I got up and walked to a chair. Apparently I have a very high pain threshold ^^; After they explained the pain
Tomorrows the Day
Well just about to try to sleep before having to get up at 4am to go to the hospital.
Yesterday I had the last bit of food I was aloud to have, steak sub and bbq pork rinds(don't judge the hick taste buds =P). Followed by the cleansing today, 238 grams of Miralax in 64onces of Gatorade. They want to make sure if I'm not gonna have the use of my anus for 3months to the rest of my life that I had one hell of a day wishing I didn't have one...
And they gave me some scary soap to use too. The warnings include going blind if getting in the eyes, going deaf if getting in the middle ear, and not to get it in any open wounds.
Back From the Appointments
Well got my blood drawn three times, talked over with a doctor about my problems, talked to admission that yes I can pay my bills and will behave while in the hospital, talked to anesthesia about how they will knock me out, talked to the operating doctor about what he's gonna do, watched a video about stoma care just in case hopefully... And ended the trip with a prison tattoo. No really they try to find the best location for the stoma breach and give you a fucking tattoo where the hole should go. So even if I don't need the stoma I have this weird wantabe Micky Mouse stick figure on my belly.

Long Day
Thursday is gonna be a long one. I have seven appointments starting at 8:30am with the last being at 4:45pm all in Cleveland, so that means I need to get up and leave the house by 5:30Am and won't get home till at earliest 8pm...

I had the same problem with the cider. I was hoping for a nice sweet apple cider with a slight alcoholic taste. Instead it tastes like a beer that someone waved an apple over.
